Collector's models made to order – when the shelf doesn't have it
Not every model can be kept in stock permanently. Some versions are so specialized that they are only requested twice in a year – and yet, these are the exact ones someone is urgently looking for. We procure these models on demand.
How it works
You order as usual. We initiate the procurement from the manufacturer or wholesaler and get in touch as soon as we have a date. The delivery time is longer than for in-stock items – the information provided for the respective item takes precedence over general information.
When it's worth it
Sought-after versions. A specific customer livery that is still in the catalog but not in every warehouse.
Additions to an ongoing collection. If you are missing exactly one number in a series, targeted procurement is the fastest way – faster than waiting for it to randomly reappear.
Larger projects. Several vehicles from a shipping company, a complete fleet of machines for a diorama.
The item number is crucial here
For targeted procurement, it is not the model name that counts, but the number. The same machine exists in many liveries, and the one whose number is on the order is the one being procured. Conrad writes them with a slash, WSI with a hyphen, NZG as a simple number.
If we can't get it
Sold-out models that are no longer in production cannot be procured – the only solution here is the second-hand market or patience. Tell us what you are looking for anyway: After forty years of collecting, we usually find something comparable.
